Hello there! This is my first review of a huge haul I ordered off of bodyline! It's made up of exactly 21 items, and was separated into two packages! This review will be covering shipping, service, and some of the items received.
Shipping/Packaging:
☆☆☆☆/☆☆☆☆☆
Bodyline's shipping was pretty much fine. I don't have a picture of it but accessories were packed in a shoe box (as well as a wig, but that's not in this review) that protected them from getting damaged. One of the stars has been taken off because one of the packages came with tears in the bag, and the shoe box was pretty beat up. They still came in a timely matter though, so four stars it is!
Communication:
☆☆☆☆☆/☆☆☆☆☆
I pretty much gave full stars for the service since there was never I point that I needed to communicated with bodyline about anything. All my items came intact, and I got the shipping info as needed. I paid and got my items, and that was that.
Items to be reviewed:
- acc011 (petticoat!)
- l190 in blu
- l125 in blk
- l162 in pik

Acc011
In the packaging about to be opened- like most petticoats it's stuffed in an air-tight bag.
Suddenly... POOF!
Look at that poof!
I had heard of bodyline's terrible petticoat quality, but since I was making such a huge order and had no hopes of getting one elsewhere in the near future, I figured that I might as well put it in. Previously I've seen people comment on this particular petticoat, saying that it had a good daily poof. Beginner that I am, I figured daily would be good enough.
No poof here!
A petticoat makes all the difference!
I was actually surprised at how poofy it looks in pictures. Bless my beginner heart, upon wearing it I actually felt like it wasn't poofy at all! Knowing me, I'd probably wear a super fluffy pannier and still think it was normal.
Quality:
☆☆☆☆/☆☆☆☆☆
It's a tulle petticoat so there's no doubt it'll deflate soon enough. But for the mere price of $15 I think it's good. I bought it knowing that it wouldn't be a giant poof and that it would be considered a daily petti, and I think it lived up to my expectations.
Necklaces:
Ta-da! I took this photo at night, so the lighting is WAY off compared to the top picture.
Necklaces! I bought four, one of which cost $3 and the other three cost $1. The $3 one was the chocolate one, pictured middle-left.
This was the $3 chocolate one. As you can see in the photo, it came with a chocolate MILK charm and a teacup charm. The teacup charm is connected to a gold braid chain, and has two beads coming off it, one jade green bead and one (not pictured) that is a warm honey color. The chocolate piece is sturdy, but has air bubbles trapped inside it. For $3, fine but I don't expect it to last too long.

Okay for 3 bucks, but could be better. The milk charm had my hopes up but it was rather disappointing in reality. I bought it for my soft cream skirt and fairy kei, and it matches both quite well. All in all, a decent buy but I wouldn't purchase another.

Amazing for just a dollar! The only minus I have for the product is the colored cords that feel coarse. I expect that they'll snap soon. Still, it's an adorable piece and I'm satisfied with this order!

Full stars for this one! A dollar for detailed charms and a just as charming red heart. Not much to talk about here.
Last necklace! (Whew... for those of you who scrolled past the necklaces are all nice and pretty looking)
This necklace is also pretty Alice in Wonderland themed, and like the previous necklace is done well! The material used for the cord is nice and I really like the focal point of the necklace! The cards and rabbit charm look nice, and the overlapping card suits have a certain appeal~ However the rough texture of the black back isn't very appealing.

One star taken off for the back side, since it's rough and looks like it'll pile. The necklace is cute and a nice accent to outfits!
And now that we're done with the "smaller items" now we can move on to what everyone has been waiting for... the skirts!
In all it's glory!
The skirt itself is very cute. The lace is good quality lace and looks nice. It's very wrinkly since it's right out of the package, but it still feels nice. The fabric isn't too thick, not a winter skirt, but thick enough to seem like good quality.
Detail of the Laces
Below are pictures of the lace: a rose lace that bodyline seems super fond of, heart lace that I think is very cute and is really soft, and on the waist ties there is a ribbon lace. (not pictured because blogger hates now)
Quality:
☆☆☆☆☆/☆☆☆☆☆
It's obviously not brand, but I think if someone didn't know that this was bodyline they could have mistaken it for an old school piece from BTSSB or AP. The ruffles are well done, and the ribbons are a very cute accent. Detachable waist ties are a super plus for bodyline, and I especially like the detachable bow . All in all a good purchase. If it was available in another color, I would purchase again.
L125 in black
I've been eying this skirt for a while now, and after reading a review on the sax version I decided to go for the black one. I was ordering three skirts- one blue, one pink and so I decided that this one would be black.
It has a waist bow and no waist ties. The skirt is one layer of fabric, the ruffles and lace are just sewn on, not extra layers.
It's pretty cute <3
Lace! Two kinds-flower and puff
The skirt is half elasticated and a tighter fit than the sax skirt. I fit into the measurements on the site (64-82) and it fits fine, however if someone was on the bigger side of this skirt I wouldn't recommend it. The elastic is a tighter one than the sax skirt above, and I'd imagine being in the 80s would make this skirt too tight.
Also note: the small bow on the waist is not detachable. It's hard to see on this photo, but the bodyline tag is attached to it.
There are two types of "laces" on the skirt. The lace on the bottom is a shiny sort of flower lace. It's cute but points detracted for the shine. It's not super stiff either, but definitely not as soft as the lace on the previous skirt. The pom poms are cute if not a bit much, but just looking at the skirt would tell you that much. They are messed up from the packaging, but I imagine airing it out for a while will let the puff balls stay in one line.
It's pretty bad in real life...
Le Gasp! SMUDGES???
Quality:
☆☆/☆☆☆☆☆
The fabric itself is fine, and the flower lace, although shiny and not soft, is too. However the horrid factory smell and the smudges all over the puff balls can not be ignored. The small bow is cute and I imagine that a lace bleaching session would fix it up, but these are glaring mistakes that shouldn't be occurring. The non-detachable part is also sort of a bummer.
Finally L162 in pink!
Ta-Da! It's actually really cute!
Detail Shot
The laces!
Detail shots! The skirt is ACTUALLY SUPER CUTE!!! The laces are super nice, I think they are all cotton! It's hard to see in the left picture, but in the right the top scallop lace is actually an ivory color. The most bottom cotton lace is also an ivory tone for some reason. The rest of the laces are all white, so I'm not sure why bodyline decided to go for the random ivory laces. Either way the design is really cute! The satin bows are actually not that shiny in real life, and the scallops and ruffles are very adorable in real life. *^* It's everything that I could have asked for! The best impulse purchase ever XD
It's a high waist skirt and accurate to pictures. The color here is actually darker than it is in real life. The color in reality is a more peachy and pastel color, while in the photos it looks more barbie. The high waist is really flattering! It curves in nicely but I have no idea how it does that. As per high waist skirts, it doesn't come with waist ties but has corset lacing and shirring in the back to make it fit a variety of sizes~!The fabric is a pretty thick fabric. I think it's cotton broadcloth or something? Definitely not summer stuff, more fall and early winter. It's not as thick as l217 from bodyline, but it's still heavy stuff. The shape of the skirt is pretty weird on bodyline, because it seems A line on the top skirt and on the model but she's pinching it weirdly. The bottom display of the skirt seem more bell-shaped. When I put the petticoat under it (which gives a more bell shape) it worked fine so I assume that it's bell. The skirt on the stock photos look super frumpy, but it's form-fitting and nice in reality! Oh bodyline, please take better stock pictures!
And a back shot to finish it off~!

A major winner! The fit is perfect (thank you for shirring and corset lacing) and the fabric itself feels thick and good quality! The waist bow is cute and a nice accent to any blouse (it's not huge, thank goodness). The laces are all nice, even though for some reason there is both ivory and white lace! Oh well, that just lets me use either color for my blouse~
Although I regretted this purchase at first, I think that I'd be more than willing to sell out the money to buy the OP or the skirt in a different color. I'm perfectly happy with this skirt!
After ordering from bodyline two previous times, I can say that the quality tends to be good and that a watchful eye is needed to make sure you don't end up with an ita mess! The items I ordered in this haul are nice and definitely worth the money!
I'll make another post for the other half of the haul (2 JSKs, 1 Bolero, 2 Blouses, and the hair accessories). I'll also add in some outfit shots in another post later :P
Thanks for reading! If there's any questions you have, just leave a comment and I'd be more than willing to help out!
